Production Of L-Glutamic Acid As A Function Of Urease Activity By Corynebacterium glutamicum X680 Using Agro-Based Raw Materials

چکیده

Urease catalyzes hydrolysis of urea. The present investigation was undertaken to investigate the urease activity and its optimization during L-glutamic acid fermentation by a biotin auxotroph Corynebacterium glutamicum X680 using urea as principal nitrogen source. Another interesting part this study efficiency microorganism for utilization indigenous raw materials (such hydrolysates cassava starch, rice bran wheat bran) cheap carbon sources instead glucose. Among different materials, hydrolysate starch appeared be most suitable. However, production is significantly less (p<0.01) with compared When medium supplemented equivalent amount (10g%) hydrolysate, accumulation reported 18.2mg/ml maximum (0.18U/mg protein) pH7 at 300C.Thus, among agro-based wastes were examined, best alternative glucose minimize L- glutamic cost.

Modeling the Fermentative Production of L-glutamic Acid by Corynebacterium Glutamicum in a Batch Bioreactor

The fermentation kinetics of L-glutamic acid by Corynebacterium glutamicum was studied in a batch bioreactor. Mathematical model using the logistic equation for growth, Leudeking-Piret kinetic equation for product formation and Leudeking-Piret like equation for substrate consumption was proposed. Based on the analysis of experimental data followed by computer simulation, the model seemed to pro...

Reversal by citrate of the iodoacetate and fluoride inhibition of glutamic acid production by Corynebacterium glutamicum.

Citrate reversal of iodoacetate inhibition of glutamate synthesis is nonmetabolic. Reversal of fluoride inhibition is metabolic, occurring only at low Mg concentrations.

Production of L-glutamic Acid by Immobilized Cell Reactor of the Bacterium Corynebacterium glutamicum Entrapped into Carrageenan Gel Beads

Immobilized cell reactor of the bacterium Corynebacterium glutamicum entrapped into carrageenan gel beads was constructed and used for the investigation of batch, fed-batch and continuous production of L-glutamic acid from nutritionally enriched sugarcane molasses. High final L-glutamic acid concentration (>93 g l ) was achieved, in batch fermentation, but with low productivity of 3.8 g l h . R...

Mutations of the Corynebacterium glutamicum NCgl1221 gene, encoding a mechanosensitive channel homolog, induce L-glutamic acid production.

Corynebacterium glutamicum is a biotin auxotroph that secretes L-glutamic acid in response to biotin limitation; this process is employed in industrial L-glutamic acid production. Fatty acid ester surfactants and penicillin also induce L-glutamic acid secretion, even in the presence of biotin. However, the mechanism of L-glutamic acid secretion remains unclear. It was recently reported that dis...
